Hot Chocolate Cookies

Hot Chocolate Cookies Recipe

Hot Chocolate Cookies have Crispy Edges with a Soft, Chewy & Chocolatey inside...like a Brownie. So Good!

Prep Time 5 minutes
Baking Time (375 Degrees) [10-15 min] 15 minutes
Total Time 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup (2 Sticks) Butter (softened)
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs (room temp)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 2 1/4 Cups Flour
  • 1/4 Cup Instant Hot Chocolate Mix (2 Packets)
  • 2 Tbl Baking Cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Cup Vanilla or White Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. In a Stand Mixer, Cream Butter & Sugars (Butter, Sugar & Brown Sugar) until light & fluffy.
  2. Beat in Eggs & Vanilla, 1 Egg at a time.
  3. In a small mixing bowl combine Flour, Hot Chocolate Mix, Baking Cocoa, Salt, Baking Soda & Baking Powder.
  4. Mix the Flour Mixture, a little at a time, into the Butter Mixture until incorporated.
  5. Next Mix in the Vanilla/White Chocolate Chips & Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips until distributed throughout the Cookie Dough.
  6. Scoop Hot Chocolate Cookie Dough onto Parchment Paper Lined Baking Sheets, about 2" apart.
  7. Bake the Hot Chocolate Cookies at 375 Degrees for 10-15 min or until the edges are slightly crispy and the center is still soft.
  8. Allow the Hot Chocolate Cookies to cool on a Cooling Rack.
  9. Enjoy these Hot Chocolate Cookies with some Cold Milk or Hot Chocolate!

Notes

  • The Hot Chocolate Cookies store well in an air-tight container or cookie jar about a week.
