Dark Chocolate Chip Cherry Cookies
Dark Chocolate Cherry Cookies have a Rich & Delicious Combination of melted Chocolate Chips & Tart Cherry Pieces; when combined with a hard to resist Oatmeal Cookie Dough - So Yummy!
Ingredients
- 1 Cup (2 Sticks) Butter (softened)
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 1/2 Cups Flour
- 1 1/2 Cups Oat Fashioned Oats
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 2 Eggs (room temp)
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 Cup Dark or Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 1/2 Cups Dried Cherries (coarsely chopped)
Instructions
- In a Stand Mixer Bowl, Cream Butter & Sugars (Butter, Sugar & Brown Sugar) until light & fluffy.
- Combine in a small mixing bowl Flour, Old Fashioned Oat & Baking Soda.
- Add the Flour Mixture, mixing in a little at a time, into the Butter Mixture until combined.
- Beat in Eggs, 1 Egg at a time, followed by the Vanilla & Salt, mixing in until well incorporated.
- Next Mix in the Dark/Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips & Cherries until distributed throughout the Cookie Dough.
- Cover and Place the Dark Chocolate Cherry Cookie dough in the Refrigerator about 30 min to chill.
- Scoop the Dark Chocolate Cherry Cookie dough onto Parchment Paper Lined Baking Sheets, about 2" apart.
- Bake the Dark Chocolate Cherry Cookies at 350 Degrees for 15-18 min or until the edges are slightly Golden Brown and the center is still Soft.
- Allow the Dark Chocolate Cherry Cookies to cool on a Cooling Rack.
- Enjoy these Delicious & Rich Flavored Cookies with some Cold Milk or Hot Cocoa!
