Rosemary Infused Salt
Rosemary Infused Salt can add some great Rosemary Flavor to your next Meal. Try out this Homemade Infused Salt for a finishing salt to add that needed Salty goodness to help make a fantastic Homemade Meal!
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Coarse Salt (Kosher Flake Salt works well for this)
- 2 Tbl Coarsely Chopped Fresh Rosemary (*see Notes below)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix until well combined.
- Pour the Rosemary Salt into a rimmed baking pan and place on the counter, stirring every few hours, for 24 hours or until the Salt no longer clumps and the Rosemary is dry and well incorporated with the salt. Giving a nice Rosemay scent to the Infused Rosemary Salt. (*see Notes below)
- Place the prepared Rosemary Infused Salt into small mason jars or containers of choice.
- Enjoy as a finishing salt for salads, meat & other dishes or add a pretty ribbon and give as a gift!
Notes
- You can play around with the ingredients as well; try adding other Fresh Herbs such as Lavender, Oregano or Thyme for some even more wonderful flavor!
- By allowing the Infused Salt to dry on the counter or in your Food Dehydrator, you make a shelf stable herbaceous salt seasoning that is great as a finishing salt or for recipes.
