Breakfast Sausage from Ground Beef (Breakfast Sausage Substitute)

This Breakfast Sausage Substitute Recipe has all the great flavors of Breakfast Sausage in a lean Ground Beef that you can use in other recipes or for Breakfast Sausage Patties!

Prep Time 5 minutes

Cook Time 10 minutes

Total Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

1 Lb Ground Beef
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Sage (ground)
1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes (to taste)
1 tsp Salt (to taste)

Instructions

Brown Ground Beef in a skillet to desired doneness (if making Breakfast Sausage Crumbles) then add Spices (Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Sage, Red Pepper Flakes & Salt). Mix well to incorporate the spices throughout the meat & Enjoy this Substitute in a recipe calling for Breakfast Sausage! (*see Notes below)

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl & create desired size Patties (if making Breakfast Sausage Patties). Then Brown until desired doneness in a skillet. Enjoy as a side dish, on a Breakfast Sandwich or in a recipe calling for Breakfast Sausage Patties!
