This is a Super Easy Baking Recipe that can be made using your favorite homemade dinner rolls or with store bought frozen dinner roll dough. Even better yet, it can be put together the evening before! Serve this Delicious Golden Pudding Monkey Bread for Breakfast, Brunch or even Dessert with some Vanilla Ice Cream!

Golden Pudding Monkey Bread Recipe

Gooey & Delicious Golden Pudding Monkey Bread is a Super Easy Baking Recipe with make ahead options, perfect for Breakfast or Brunch!

Prep Time 10 minutes
Bake Time (350 Degrees) - Covered 20 minutes
Bake Time (350 Degrees) - Uncovered 10 minutes
Total Time 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 24 Dinner Roll Portions (*see Notes below) (cut into 1/4 pieces)
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 (3.5 oz Package) Butterscotch Pudding (Cook & Serve)
  • 1/2 Cup (1 Stick) Butter (melted)
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

Instructions

  1. Place quartered Dinner Roll Dough pieces into a Large Mixing Bowl
  2. Combine the Sugar, Cinnamon & Pudding Mix into a Small Mixing Bowl
  3. Toss the quartered Dinner Roll Dough pieces with the Sugar, Cinnamon & Pudding Mix Mixture until well coated (*see Notes below)
  4. Spread the Coated Dinner Roll Dough pieces into a Bundt Cake Pan (grease & prep the pan as necessary for baking prior)
  5. Mix together the Melted Butter & Brown Sugar to make a caramel sauce and pour over the Coated Dinner Roll Dough pieces in the Bundt Cake Pan.
  6. Place the Bundt Cake Pan onto a Rimmed Baking Pan or Cookie Sheet (to catch any bubbling sauce as it bakes)
  7. Bake the Golden Pudding Monkey Bread at 350 Degrees Covered with Foil for 20 min, then uncovered for 10 min or until lightly golden and with bubbling sauce.
  8. Allow the Golden Pudding Monkey Bread to cool slightly in the Bundt Cake Pan on cooling rack.
  9. Invert a serving plate (a Tart Dish works well for this!) onto the Bundt Cake Pan and turn out the Golden Pudding Monkey Bread.
  10. Enjoy this gooey & sweet baked treat warm for Breakfast, Brunch or as a Dessert!

Notes

  • You can use your favorite dinner rolls dough or Store-Bought. Rhodes Frozen Dinner Rolls work well for this recipe!
  • If using frozen dinner roll dough, allow the dough to thaw enough to able to cut into 1/4 pieces, then proceed with recipe
  • Make ahead option - cover Large Mixing Bowl containing the coated quarter Dinner Roll Dough Pieces with a towel and place into the refrigerator overnight. Then continue with Step 4.
