In a matter of minutes, you'll have some Made from Scratch Lemon Vinaigrette using Fresh Lemon Juice and just a few other ingredients! So simple, but quite delicious.

Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp Honey (optional)
  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Salt (to taste)
  • dash Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp Thyme (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine Lemon Juice, Dijon Mustard, Garlic & Honey (if using) and whisk together until well combined.
  2. Continue whisking as you add the Olive Oil until the dressing is emulsified and has a smooth, well combined appearance.
  3. Season with Salt, Pepper & Thyme (if using) to taste.
  4. Enjoy over salads or as a marinade!

Notes

  • Lemon Vinaigrette stores nicely in an air-tight container/bottle in the Refrigerator for about a week.
  • The Olive Oil will solidify in the cooler temperatures of the Refrigerator. Simply leave the Lemon Vinaigrette to sit out at room temperature until it becomes a liquid again and shake before serving.

If you notice the Olive Oil has solidified slightly from being in the refrigerator, simply remove the Lemon Vinaigrette from the fridge a few minutes before using and give the bottle a good shake! You should be good to go!
