Elevated Covered Raised Garden Beds | Container Planting | Small Space Gardening!

Today we will be doing some Container Planting of Vegetables (Lettuce, Carrots & Radishes) in a couple of Elevated Covered Raised Garden Beds. These Containers work great for a Small Space Vegetable Garden & add a nice clean look to your Patio, Deck or Yard for growing fruits, veggies or flowers. The Elevated Covered Raised Garden Beds used today are handy to plant, as they sit up higher, and with their covers, should allow for a longer growing season!

Above are some other veggies that have grown nicely in this style raised bed. I like to change it up a little bit each year. Have fun with the combinations and selections to grow in your elevated raised garden throughout the seasons!

You can make a Mini–Companion Planting Garden in your Covered Elevated Raised Beds as well. We grew Green Onions with Carrots and Radishes together this year. These are some great garnishes and salad fixings that are growing great together so far!

Having the planting area elevated helps with bending and keeps the plants off of the ground level for critters. Also, with the vented covers, you can extend your gardening season into the cooler months!
