Today we will be doing some Container Planting of Vegetables (Lettuce & Tomatoes) in Galvanized Bushel Baskets. These Containers work great for a Small Space Vegetable Garden & add a fun look to your Patio, Deck or Yard. You can make a mini Companion Planting Garden in your Galvanized Planters as well. We grew Tomatoes and Lettuce together this year. Nice little heads of lettuce were produced along the edges with sturdy tomato plants in the center. The makings of a great salad grown together!

Choose your favorite Tomato Plant, determinate varieties work well for containers as they can grow to a nice, determined bush size & be easily supported by a tomato cage in the planter vessel.

We enjoy the rustic and simple feel of these Galvanized Bushel Baskets, and they look nice in a variety of places on the property. Either grouped together as above or separated throughout the yard!
